Benin at the 2008 Summer Olympics

[edit]

5x expanded by NG39 (talk). Self nominated at 05:41, 21 September 2014 (UTC).

  • - Article is well referenced, was 5x expanded, and I can't see any copyvios. However, both hooks are rather confusing. Is there any way we could get an ALT2, to make a clear and concise hook? I can see that Benin previously competed under a different name. Was this the first time they competed under the name Benin?
Perhaps ALT2: ... that Benin's only female swimmer finished 87th out of 90 in the 2008 Summer Olympics?PanydThe muffin is not subtle 14:04, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
  • New reviewer needed for the ALT hooks, especially ALT2 and ALT3 (original hook and ALT1 were already said to be "rather confusing"). Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:06, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
I had changed the source link to go straight to the official Olympics results page. Is that not ok? PanydThe muffin is not subtle 12:21, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
Just reread the comment. Ignore me. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 12:22, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
  • There was a problem in the table, but the text was correct. I fixed the table (from 88 to 87) and now the article matches the hook in that respect. The ALT3 hook is directly attributable to a reliable source, is within policy, and is reasonably interesting. All other article criteria ok per Yoninah's review. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:03, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
