- New enough and long enough. QPQ done. Image on article is public domain.
- Offline sources support text and were not plagiarised to write.
- One fact tag needing cleaning.

- The wording... is problematic. "who yesterday by the orders of General Ignacio" this for me almost makes me thinks plagiarism word for word in translating. It makes it very, very difficult to determine what day things happened. The tense usage here reminds me more of Wikinews writing than Wikipedia writing.
- Yes I tend to use translators as a complementary tool althhough I speak the needed languages. It must have slipped out of my rereads. Rephrased it to sound less like a press release.Lajbi Holla @ me • CP 10:13, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
- Where is the hook found in this article? I looked for secretly and it doesn't appear in the article. Covertly doesn't appear either. Please cite the paragraph where this fact can be found so it can be verified. --LauraHale (talk) 05:52, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
- "General Cobos, who signed a secret agreement with republican Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Doblado" - that agreement is the basis of thier support. Lajbi Holla @ me • CP 10:13, 14 July 2012 (UTC)

Fact tag cleaned. Wording improved to make hook obvious. Article clearly reads like it was written by some one whose first language is not English. I'm inclined to pass but worried that given the previous issues on another DYK, some one might overturn it. If the mover feels comfortable moving it, then yay! --LauraHale (talk) 19:38, 14 July 2012 (UTC)
