Annie Armitt
[edit]... that there were three Cumbrian Armitt sisters, a botanist, a naturalist and Annie, the novelist?

- Created on 28 Nov from a redirect, nom on 29/new enough. 2071 char/long enough. Neutral. Cited. No copyvio. No image. QPQ done. Hook is short enough and interesting, but inaccurate. Source says " She studied musicology, ornithology and social history". Text says she "excelled at music and natural history", and hook says she was a naturalist. I would buy that text and hook are the same but source indicates she studied people, not plants and animals or their environment. Thus, we need a new hook and the text needs to show she studied people and/or birds. Despite that, nice article. Love learning about interesting people. SusunW (talk) 04:25, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- The problem is that 'botanist' and 'naturalist' are somewhat misleading labels for the other two sisters, since they really didn't follow those occupations very seriously, as far as the evidence shows at the moment. Mainly, they all went on to be writers, so maybe that offers more potential for a hook-- I've suggested one in ALT1, and I've tweaked Annie Armitt's page so that this is clear and cited.Alafarge (talk) 16:19, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
