Adama Touré (PAI general secretary)
- ... that on February 3, 1986, African Independence Party leaders Adama Touré and Adama Touré were released from detention?
- Source: Afrique nouvelle, Issues 1902-1927. 1986. p. 9

- @Soman: Article is long enough and created same day as DYK submission. Article was well-sourced and neutral. QPQ done. The hook is pretty humorous. However, the source to the hook is unopenable, and according to the limited searching I can do here, the name "Adama" does not appear, so I do not think that source is adequate for this hook. Additionally, in the article, the section "Influence on Sankara" is almost entirely quotations; I feel this information is able to be, and should be, paraphrased to help presentability and avoid unnecessary block quotes. - Regarding the reference Afrique nouvelle p. 9, this is the quote "BURKINA VERS LE CONSENSUS NATIONAL ? The ref is important as it is clear that there were 2 different Adama Toures released on same day. I don't know why the snippet search isn't working well, I'm also having problems searching inside the text. Search passages from this quote in google books directly. --Soman (talk) 18:33, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
