Cite New HIP red./doc is a template that was designed to provide a consistent and neat citation for the Validation of the New Hipparcos Reduction.
Usage
[edit]This paper used to be the main source for astronomical object's astrometry until the launch of the Gaia spacecraft in 2013. Even afterwards, a few astronomical objects, especially stars, still use it to this day. To use this template, simply put {{Cite New HIP red.}} into the reflist of your article. It will then generate a citation for the aforementioned paper.
