There seems to be a conflation of two Zoticuses on this page. Considering the date of death is stated as 204 under Septimus Severus, and yet, later it is said that he lived in Constantinople under Constantius which is more than a century later. 109.245.34.164 (talk) 16:42, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I searched through the cited The Orphans of Byzantium and found that the later part of the article is actually about Hieromartyr Zoticus the Priest, of Constantinople, Guardian of Orphans. This Zoticus can be found in December 30 (Eastern Orthodox liturgics).
I have no memory of what I was thinking when I edited this and I can't find a complete version of the sources used in the sentence or any version that mentions Zoticus of Comana. I suggest removing that part of the article and adding it to the other article about Eastern Orthodox Liturgics. Ewf9h-bg (Ewf9h-bg) 1944:57, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for your prompt response. Please note that the picture will have to be removed as well since it belongs to the later Zoticus. Aithus (talk) 03:44, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
