Review
[edit]- There isn't much to review here, it looks pretty good
- Can you expand a little on
He previously played for the New York Mets
. Ie.he previously played for the New York Mets organization from 2013 to 2019
- (copied from my own GA review) A URL for the homepage of a publication is usually unnecessary if there is an actual name. This is because, for example, MLB.com becomes italicized while Major League Baseball does not.
HickoryOughtShirt?4 Both comments have been addressed. I took out the URLs for MLB.com and MiLB.com, but left in NJ.com since that's the name of the publication, and ESPN.com, as it's technically one branch of the larger ESPN, Inc. Kncny11 (shoot) 04:13, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Improved to Good Article status by Kncny11 (talk). Self-nominated at 21:32, 15 June 2021 (UTC).
- Hi Kncny11, review follows: article made GA on 15 June; article is well written and cited inline to reliable sources throughout; I did a spot check on some of the sources and found no issues with overly close paraphrasing; quotes are properly attributed; a QPQ has been carried out; image is freely licensed and OK at this scale
- Hooks:
- ALT0: mentioned in the article and checks out to source cited; I changed "pants" to "jeans" in ALT0 so that it is understandable in Commonwealth English also.
- ALT1: mentioned in the article and checks out to source cited; I am not familiar with baseball so don't know how rare this is. I think ALT0 is more accessible to the general reader and would prefer this hook.
- Nice article, good work - Dumelow (talk) 07:25, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
