Morote
[edit]Hi @Nuclearfungi: About this edit: I've provided a source showing he is one of the most well known people to have brought Yoruba traditions to the country. What more is required? Invasive Spices (talk) 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Invasive Spices: A source that the person is descended from the Yoruba people. Following the religion doesn't necessarily make someone ethnically Yoruba, just as following Norse paganism doesn't necessarily make someone ethnically Scandinavian Nuclearfungi (talk) 08:18, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Do we have that for any of the other people here? Invasive Spices (talk) 31 October 2022 (UTC)
Nigerianizing Black American Etnicity
[edit]The entire article is a revisionist history. shiznaw (talk) 16:15, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Shiznaw, per the WP:PROD policy, you cannot restore the proposed deletion once it has been challenged. If you think this article should be deleted, you need to use WP:AFD. But I can tell you that it's almost certain not to be deleted, so I suggest that you instead voice specific concerns about the article here and other editors can weigh in on the merits of your argument. In what way is it a revisionist history? What would you want to change about the article? Jfire (talk) 23:48, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
History section deleted
[edit]History section deleted shiznaw (talk) 01:36, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- You can't unilaterally delete sourced content from the article, just as you can't unilaterally have the article itself deleted. You need to engage other editors here with arguments based in Wikipedia policy. If you're just here to right great wrongs, you'll soon find yourself blocked. Jfire (talk) 04:02, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
- Jfire No need to threaten anyone. Please, Don't engage in accusing others of wanton malice where there is none. So, just calm down with the hollow threats. shiznaw (talk) 06:19, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
