The result of the move request was: Moved Yan Zi → Yan Zi (tennis) but not Yanzi → Yan Zi — Amakuru (talk) 13:34, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
– I don't think the tennis player is primary topic since the c.500BC philosopher Yan Ying is very widely known as "Yan Zi". This can be verified by performing a simple Google Books search of "Yan Zi". The tennis player has no long-term significance over Yan Ying, nor does it average significantly more page views. [1] Baseline should be a dab page. Timmyshin (talk) 06:22, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support but @Timmyshin: clean up will take time. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:57, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support move. The primary topic for Yan Zi is clearly the philosopher. Cleanup is a secondary concern. ONR (talk) 02:32, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support; likely absence of a primary topic. bd2412 T 14:35, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
- Support first move Yan Zi → Yan Zi (tennis) but oppose second for now. We haven't really addressed what the DAB should be called, or even whether there should be a primary redirect from Yan Zi to Yan Ying. Andrewa (talk) 07:44, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
