Notes
Lilian Garcia sang a rendition of "America the Beautiful" before the show. This event marked the second time that the WrestleMania main event featured The Rock and Steve Austin (the first was at WrestleMania XV. A third match would also take place at WrestleMania XIX). This event holds the record for most title changes at a single WrestleMania with 5. The WWF Championship, Tag Team Championship, Women's Championship, European Championship and Hardcore Championship titles all changed hands. This WrestleMania took place only about a week after the World Wrestling Federation announced the purchase of long time rival promotion, World Championship Wrestling. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan called his first WrestleMania match in eight years alongside "Mean" Gene Okerlund when the two called the Gimmick Battle Royal. Due to his unexpected departure from the company a month earlier, this was the first WrestleMania not to feature Jerry "The King" Lawler as a commentator since WrestleMania IX. This event saw the second time that Vince McMahon turned on the Rock Wrestlemania 2000 being the previous one.

- Done It was vandalism, and I've reverted it. For future reference though, you can easily check such edits yourself and take the necessary action. NiciVampireHeart 19:50, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
- Hello Nici, I disagree I am afraid. Checking such details takes time, I checked the wrestling website, and I could not care less about such affairs. So I gladly leave it to others more versed in wrestling affairs (and fond of it).Super48paul (talk) 09:03, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
- I disagree with your disagreement. It takes about the same time to click on a link and scroll to the relevant match as it does to type a request on the talk page for someone else to do it. But whatever. NiciVampireHeart 15:53, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
