Additional info
What happened to this page? Wikipedia is not for you to promote your religion. See the NPOV guidelines. Wyote 18:10, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- I've restored the page to its prior condition. Wyote 18:15, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- This is a ridiculous justification. Notice how "Angel" refers to the editor(s) as "we", suggesting a non-neutral viewpoint coming from the church itself (my own interpretation). The article was written as a BLATANT advertisement; I've fixed most of it, but it was reverted. I'm continuing to watch it, for concerns make note on this page. - DMCer 07:41, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
Angel, you have reverted the World Mission Society Church of God article twice now, despite two editors requesting that you first discuss your feelings on the talk page. Wikipedia is not a place for you to promote your religion. I have reverted your edit. Some of what you added would be legitimate if you include a source with your claim. See Wikipedia:Three-revert rule - DMCer 17:52, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
This being the talk page. It is clear to see that referances have been inserted. Neither of the two editors requested anything of me. Wyote just reverted the page as you did. My feelings have been posted each time. If you would like to delete this page completely then do so but as long as its on Wikipedia then it will reflect the beliefs of the church, not yours or mine. No where does this article say nor invite anyone to belong. Its just what the church belives in. Your intent is to do harm to this orginization which is clearly seen by what you write. I have stated the source, month, and year to verify the statements. Feel free to look them up and verify them. You one the other hand have stated nothing but your opinions with no source document at all, its DMCER who has reverted this page twice calling it ridiculous justification, thats just your opinion.Angel 17:35, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- There are no opinions in this article, until your repeated reverts. This is an encyclopedia, accusations of "harm" are unfounded and the way to deal with your concerns is NOT to revert the entire article to undo others' edits. If you care about the quality of the aticle, you may fix glaring mistakes such as, "The Church holds three "R" movements “Restore the Faith of the Early Church” movement, “Restore the Truth of the Early Church” movement and “Save the Whole World.” How is this THREE R's? I coun't two. Also, in your template, the first sentence of the 2nd paragraph is very unclear and poorly produced (it runs on). Most importantly, you claim that you are attempting to reflect the views of the church. This is noble, however, you cannot be subjective about this. You are deleting truths such as the Church's prayers to the founder that belong in an accurate article. Lastly, please see the citation guidlines for the proper ways to cite sources. You can't write,"acording to a MBC broadcast," because no one knows what that is. There's a proper way to list references at the bottom of the article. If reverts continue, I will bring this to the attention of an administrator and the page will be locked. I've included some of your neutral edits into the article, please make sure that any additions are grammatically correct, as many previous ones were unclear. Thanks. -DMCer 19:04, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- I have attempted to correct the glaring mistakes, I didnt revert the entire article this time, but tried to expound and clarify what might seem confusing, while leaving others edits included such as the truth about the members praying in the name of Ahnsahnghong, I removed the part about them not praying to God as no human can prove who God is or isnt, i believe its a good comprimise of which i am tring to do make this a good source of encylopedic information. I would like to thank you all for helping me learn this wiki system, and of course improve my ability to effectively commumicate. Angel 00:40, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've formatted the source (although it doesn't turn up in an online search) and have made some minor edits to reflect the tone of an Encyclopedia. Your additions have not been touched.-DMCer 01:27, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

The page seems to be in pretty good shape, but there are some careless references to "King David" that were not done correctly. If you want to cite writing attribruted to David, you need to cite it specifically. Wyote (talk) 15:33, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Fundamental Truths
I added Fundamental Truths as found on their website at usa.watv.org. Although I personally disagree with the beliefs of this church, I hope I have represented them fairly - please review and neutralize as necessary. Rj141 04:26, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- This should not read "truth", but rather "beliefs", as Wikipedia does not endorse religious beliefs as truths. I've slightly modified recent additions conform to WP:NPOV. *Reliable* third-party sources on this organization are very scarce; therefore, it is important to watch for dubious statements in support or against this group. Any additions reading like an endorsement, advertisement, or material from the church itself attempting to pass as fact, will be promptly removed. Obviously, this does not apply to the beliefs section, but even that can (and has been), tweaked towards a biased view in favor of the church.-DMCer 17:01, 17 August 2007 (UTC
Erroneous Beliefs Held by WMSCoG
How can we incorporate in the article the places in which this religion strays from classical historical biblical Christianity?
For example on their website they state: "We come to understand that not one God, but two Gods-a Father and a Mother-worked together during the Creation." http://usa.watv.org/truth/elohim.html. However the Bible clearly teaches that there are not two Gods but only One. As it is written, ""The Lord our God, the Lord is one …" (Deuteronomy 6:4), "Is there another God besides me?" (Isaiah 44:8) "Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me." (Isaiah 43:10), "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." (Isaiah 45:5). Itsadiel (talk) 17:24, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Another example also found on that same page is: "When God said, "Let us make man in our image," God used the word "us"-a plural term-instead of using "me." We come to understand that not one God, but two Gods-a Father and a Mother." However this is not referring to any second Mother God, this is referring to the Triune nature of God. Not only in Genesis and Isaiah does God refer to Himself as "Us" and "We". He also refers to Himself in this plural sense in John 14 when Jesus says, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him." (John 14:23) Itsadiel (talk) 17:31, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Generally speaking, that would constitute original research, which is against Wikipedia's policy. There was, however, a criticism section in this article, which ERRATIC_CHEESE removed, and for some reason, I thought I'd reverted it. It's well-sourced, so leaving it in is a good solution that avoids OR.—DMCer™ 07:57, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Beliefs Sections do not Match WMSCOG Doctrine
I would like to point out that many of the doctrine subsections on this article cite WMSCOG's website yet state the wrong verses and incorrect statemenęts also the trinity explanation doesn't use a person as an example it uses H2O in the states of Water Ice and Gas (I cannot provide a cite for the trinity because the only citation I have is not citable)--69.146.108.94 (talk) 17:46, 19 May 2010 (UTC)
Seven Feasts of Three Times
I think there should be a section on the Seven Feasts of Three times that Christ Ahn Sahng-hong taught because they are not in line with modern interpretations as followed by the Jews like Pentecost redirects to Shavuot which is described as first fruits but he says first fruits is the first day of the week after the Sabbath after Passover and refers to Pentecost as feast of weeks--69.146.108.94 (talk) 22:49, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
