Kelly's resignation

[edit]

The statement that Kelly had resigned from the WP was added by an anon, and reverted as unsourced BLP. I have restored it, because it appears very likely to be correct. See http://www.indymedia.org.nz/article/76955/open-letter-workers-party and http://nickkellyandtheworkersparty.blogspot.com/ for the lead up to this. I think it's less likely to cause harm to include this and request a source than to omit it and thus suggest that Kelly is still a member.-gadfium 05:23, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kelly's definitely not a member, as he hasn't attended any meetings since June 09, but I'm not sure if he actually resigned or got expelled. I'll check next time I talk to somebody who was a member at the time. In the meantime, I'm changing it from 'resigned as member of the Workers' etc' to read 'left the Workers' etc'. If I can find a public source that definitely says he resigned from the party as a whole, online or in print, I'll change it back and add the cite. Andrensath (talk) 08:32, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Somehow the 'cite missing' tag has gone missing - I'll restore it. Schwede66 23:34, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
