Magical girl series classification
[edit]I noticed a Crunchyroll editorial used as a source declaring this series to be a magical girl series, but it technically is not. This interview with the original creator does mention that there are some influences/comparisons drawn from magical girl series but he ultimately calls it a fantasy series. lullabying (talk) 01:03, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
Birthdays and Zodiacs
[edit]There's been a back-and-forth over whether to include this info over the last few days, so I thought it best to talk it over here rather than let it continue as a low-level edit war. Pinging involved parties: @Juhachi, Dannyfani2517, Lullabying, and Kikimikitikitoki:
To wit: do the main characters' birthdays and zodiac signs belong on this page, or not? I am of the opinion that they do not, because the information isn't relevant in the work itself and only comes up in supplementary material (in this case, the official site). Sure, one character does celebrate her birthday in the series, but the actual date of that isn't important (let alone her zodiac sign)— thus it's simply trivia, and not encyclopedic information. Moreover, including this sort of info is certainly not common or standard on Wikipedia, so I don't see why this page would be an exception. — Kawnhr (talk) 19:30, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
Jumping in here. Character's birthdays and zodiac signs are considered WP:FANCRUFT and shouldn't be included. Link20XX (talk) 19:45, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
- I agree with this. I already discussed this at User talk:Kikimikitikitoki#Wonder Egg Priority and it appears that this user keeps adding back birthdays in retaliation of the editing at the Fandom Wiki for other users putting in the "incorrect" birthdays. lullabying (talk) 20:49, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
- What an odd dispute. Checking the official site, I see that Ai's birthday is listed as June 15— not June 26. So even putting aside whether the information should be included or not, it's just correct information to begin with. — Kawnhr (talk) 07:18, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
I've seen at least four accounts adding and re-adding after deletion the same info: Kikimikitikitoki (talk · contribs · WHOIS), Galinasomefrutie (talk · contribs · WHOIS), Dannyfani2517 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and Badwordisbadforyou (talk · contribs · WHOIS). I think that these accounts are from the same user. - Xexerss (talk) 11:01, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
Well you got it wrong these are my friends accounts. They are making their own accounts because they are angry for the birthdays. Galinasomefrutie (talk) 11:14, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
