CSU capacity

[edit]

The 4,500 number comes from the "Promoter's Guide" where it shows the number of seats per section in the arena. I'll admit it probably falls under original research, but the sources that state 8,500 are clearly not accurate for anyone who's actually been to a CSU game. The 8,500 number is if all seats in the 2/3 of the arena not curtained off are open, which is not the case. For most games, none of the upper levels are open at all. As you can see in the photo I posted, not only are the seats empty, but all but a few upper level sections are covered with tarps, meaning they aren't available for the game. If we don't count the seats in the third of the arena curtained off, we shouldn't be counting the tarped seats either. The crowd at the Valpo game was just over 4,100 and the available seating was largely full (panorama of the Feb 26 game against Valpo), but the majority of visible seats are covered with tarps. In doing a raw count based on the numbers for each open section in the Promoter's Guide, I got 4,527 seats available, not counting the party deck and the pep band area, and that's with 5 upper level sections open, which apparently aren't always open for games. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:37, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Stadium Journey shouldn't be used as an absolute since it's one person doing a single game review of a particular facility. The capacity they list has no source and could've easily come from Wikipedia. CSU's media guide doesn't list a capacity for the arena other than its total capacity (13,610). --JonRidinger (talk) 04:44, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cleveland Force

[edit]

Incorrectly stated in the article:

The indoor soccer team the Cleveland Force never played at the Wolstein Center, as the team folded in 1988 and the Cleveland State Convention Center (now Wolstein Center) didn’t open until 1991. 2600:1700:6C40:31D0:8C08:95DA:A5:74B8 (talk) 04:43, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
