Missing wind farms

[edit]

I can't find a full current list of Michigan wind farms. The list we have has two large farms that came online in 2012 and we are missing almost 200 MW of the claimed 377 MW for 2011. (Three or four more farms are currently under construction as well.) Rmhermen (talk) 00:56, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is possible that they counted the 213 MW Gratiot farm in 2011, instead of in June 2012 (entered full production). But that still leaves use with a small discrepancy. Rmhermen (talk) 14:21, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Should be all up to date. Rmhermen (talk) 04:55, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Meade was a DTE project voted down in May 2015. A new DTE proposal is called Pinnebog Wind Project.[2] Apple Blossom will sell its power to Consumers Energy.[3] Rmhermen (talk) 19:02, 16 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Charts are confusing

[edit]

The first chart shows that Michigan as of 2021 has 2,681 Megawatts of nameplate capacity, which is 2.681 Gigawatts. Yet in the Wind generation by Year table in 2020 we actually generated 6,734 million (6,734,000,000) KWH of electricity or 6,734 GW. Tfoydel (talk) 10:25, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Very late response but GW and GWhr are measure different things. Rmhermen (talk) 04:06, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
