Pebble or Pebbles
[edit]Which is her middle name. Slaghoople lists Pebbles but this lists Pebble. I think we need to sort out which is the correct one, because it would be the same for both of them. Due to the confusion I'll be redirecting both with and without the s, but we should list only the correct one. Tyciol (talk) 20:50, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Pearl Slaghoople remarrying?!
[edit]"but other staff writers have said in various other interviews, that, as Richard Pebble had died before Wilma was a teenager, Pearl had to remarry in order to provide for her children, the youngest of which was still in grade school. Subsequently, it is said that Slaghoople adopted the three girls, giving them his last name before he too passed away when Wilma was a young adult" Is there any proof of this being remotely true? I've never heard anyone involved with the show say anything, nor seen anything in any Flintstones episode, about Wilma's mother remarrying (or doing so to provide for her kids). Think the "Pebble" name is just an early-installation aspect of early episodes and doesn't really need any explaining away (just as Springfield has a city council in early "Simpsons" episodes, or Clark Kent worked at the "Daily Star" in the earliest Superman comics...). At any rate, I've added a "citation needed" tag instead of deleting it outright, but will delete it if there's no proof offered. Johnny Nevada (talk) 17:06, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
