Picture
[edit]Is it just for me that the picture covers some of the text (about one character) on the right side? Ben T/C July 6, 2005 04:48 (UTC)
Name of the topic
[edit]Could someone rename this page to Wilhelm_Messerschmitt? It would look a way much better. --KMFK, October 29, 2008 23:54 (UTC + 1)
Carl von Marr
[edit]I've removed the statement about Carl von Marr being Willy Messerschmitt's stepfather. Marr married Elsie Fellerer Messerschmitt (1872–1919), the widow of Pius Ferdinand Messerschmitt (1858–1915) in 1916. However, Willy Messerschmitt was the son of Baptist Ferdinand Messerschmitt (1858–1916) and Anna Maria Schaller Messerschmitt (1867–1942). Doremo (talk) 08:45, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
Most produced
[edit]The BF109 page says it is the most produced fighter, and gives two references. The IL-10 article says 36,000 were made, but that is not a fighter, so I changed "fighter" to "warplane." I also changed the "about 35,000" on this page to "about 34,000" to match the BF109 page. Marfinan (talk) 21:01, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
