Creation of article
[edit]I have just created this article on September 11, 2018. Much of the tagging was borrowed from the Jimmy Doolittle article because Dieter was on the Doolittle Raid, so there was a lot of overlap. This is obviously a work in progress, but all help (especially with tagging) is appreciated.

SGT or CPT?
[edit]The caption says he's a sergeant, but the insignia on his hat says he's a captain, which is a vastly different rank.
