Incorrect Data
[edit]"William Gentles (1857-1932), a US private was probably responsible for bayoneting to death Miniconjou chief Crazy Horse in 1877. Historian Walter M. Camp circulated copies of this account to individuals who had been present who questioned the identity of the soldier and provided two additional names. To this day, the identification remains questionable. Gentles got promoted to Major in 1901 and died of old age in 1932."
This entry has one citation and the information is completely wrong (dates of birth, death, etc.), not from the citation Ephriam3 (talk) 10:25, 3 December 2008.
I wrote a rough draft biography; will come back later and polish it and add references.Ephriam3 (talk) 0730, 4 December 2008.
