Date of birth
[edit]An editor, Slingerg, has asked for advice in this diff about the date of birth on this article. I have replied there giving WP:TRUTH as the broad explanation of the matter at hand. Family
[edit]William Atcheson Stewart's parents were George Atcheson Stewart (b 14 Dec 1868) and Fanny Ann Langford (5 Jul 1872 - 26 Jan 1932) of 16th Concession, London, Middlesex Co., Ontario . George, was the son of William Atcheson Stewart (20 Apr 1834- 17 Feb 1909) and Margaret Lannin Hays (b 27 Sep 1838). George's grandfather, David Stewart, (b c1807) was the son of Hugh Stewart and Ann Kilpatrick of County Armagh, Ireland. David immigrated to Canada at the age of 20 in 1828, and he married, on 3 Feb 1833, Mary Ann Atcheson (c1800 - 20 Mar 1875) also born in Ireland. Their marriage took place in Bastard, Leeds Co., Ontario. Fanny Ann Langford's (b 5 Jul 1872) grandfather Isaac Langford, Jr. (1818-1898) immigrated from Ireland in 1832, her grandmother was Jane McRoberts (b 1821 Ireland), and her parents were Ephraim Langford (b 29 Jul 1842) and Jane Lannin (28 Nov 1849 - 17 Jan 1933).
