Company Growth and Locations
[edit]Just checked my old resumes and I worked at Whole Earth Access in Concord from February to July 1988, so it definitely opened by then. I may have been part of the starting crew—hey, it was a long time ago—but my recollection is it was open but new when I began. MetaGrrrl (talk) 21:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Basic Living Products former employee
[edit]I was employed by Basic Living Products, dba Whole Earth Access from April 1, 1987 though July 1996. I was hired as a warehouse man for the electronics store at the Berkeley location 7th and Ashby. I was promoted to software buyer shortly thereafter as personal computers were becoming popular. The word processing software, Wordperfect, was the bestseller and came in 3.5in and 5.25in floppy disk formats. By the time I started there the San Francisco and San Rafael stores were open. I was there for the opening of these 3 stores; Concord, San Mateo and Sacramento. Joeyknow (talk) 20:51, 6 February 2017 (UTC) Tom Patrick
