The plot summary needs some tweaking up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.5.237.127 (talk) 01:58, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
Verb Tenses
[edit]The plot summary should be written in the "literary present." Right now it is in mixed past and present tenses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Summersilk (talk • contribs) 16:29, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, I just added the cleanup-tense template. It requires some thorough copyedit work as well; there are lots of run-on sentences, etc. Kjl (talk) 22:26, 6 October 2008 (UTC)very nice...

A dog named Caesar.
[edit]Allegedly, this book was used as a cipher-text source for clandestine communications in some high-profile Cold War espionage case? The details, if known, could be added to the article. 87.97.104.25 (talk) 20:50, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Reception quote sources
[edit]Anyone have any idea who Tess Alfonsin or DeAnn Okamura are? Are these just random quotes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hughpac (talk • contribs) 08:51, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
Cave Name
[edit]I removed the reference to "Robber's Cave" as the name of the cave Billy camped in on his way home from retrieving Dan and Ann from Tahlequah. Billy's father does suppose the cave "…must have been the one called 'Robber's Cave,'" but he is mistaken, as Robber's Cave is about 100 miles in the opposite direction from where Billy is going. Past content removal
[edit]Hey, I was just checking my past contributions and realized that somehow I accidentally removed the entire plot summary section. I wanted to apologize for causing any trouble. GunnarBonk (talk) 21:00, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
