This book is basically about a girl who really doesn't know who she is and then she becomes friends with another girl and then they I guess fall in love. I think that the movie Love and Suicide is based on this book. Love and Suicide talks about a girl who is in a too religous family and she becomes friends with another girl and they fall in love. Its about a girl named Em, and her going through her life not having anyone really there to help her. Her father is a drunk. Her mother passes away. Her sister, Pamela, beats her and curses at her. She isn't the sister you want. Em and her sister finally start getting money from their father and going grochiery shopping. But Pamela is doing something with some of the money. You will have to read to find out what. Her sister and her run away one day because their father brought a women home that was very mean to them. Just read the book and find out for yourself what happens. I will tell you this though, Em's father doesn't care about them and doesn't go looking for them. The author starts the book when Pamela dies, and then goes back in time to when she was alive and what Em went through.
