A portion may be incorrect;

"The Huron Branch, WLE's first line between Norwalk and Huron, was acquired by WE [implying after 1990] but was never activated north of the Norwalk city limits and was later removed in its entirety."

According to a scanned document, which can be found here, http://www.cppr.net/documents/abandonment.html, it appears NS petitioned for abandonment of the Huron Branch in 1988, before WLE (II)75.35.242.241 (talk) 15:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible that they didn't actually abandon it before 1990, and did transfer it to the W≤ I would need the text of Finance Docket No. 31591 (sale to the W&LE) or Docket No. AB-227 (Sub-No. 0X or Sub-No. 1X) (the W&LE's first abandonments). --NE2 17:33, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs far more information on today's operations. The Wheeling is a major regional player at 820 miles, but not a peppe about it today? —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

also operated over CSX trackage rights, Broad Ford (0.00) - Mt. Pleasant (9.56) until AB_227_5_X (1994)

AB_227_2_X was in Stark, Wayne, and Medina Counties, but I don't know where, and I don't know what AB_227_0_X or AB_227_1_X were.
