There are two episodes of Homicide: Life on the Street, in which the character Mike Kellerman is visited by his cousins, who are based on Wheeler and Woolsey. Someone who has the time ought to track down the precise information and add information about it here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Malkhos (talk • contribs) 04:24, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Not a vaudeville team
[edit]I don't think Wheeler & Woolsey ever acted in vaudeville together, as stated in the first section of the article. (I do not believe that Woolsey acted in vaudeville at all, in fact.) As a later section of the article indicates, they were paired up in the late 1920s for a Broadway show and a subsequent film adaptation.Jcejhay (talk) 20:15, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
Ohhh...BOY!
[edit]This catchphrase appears in some of their films, spoken by Woolsey. I do not know if it originated with them, as I have found earlier use - in the first issue of the American Legion magazine from 1919, for example. It was certainly associated with them by the 1930’s, though; Florence Craye uses it in the 1941 comedy “Hellzapoppin, imitating them. Where does it come from?2A00:23C7:E284:CF00:AD39:976B:FC39:F339 (talk) 22:48, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
