Split?
[edit]So there is a tag proposing a split, would the person who left the tag, or anyone else for that matter, care to put forward some reasons? Beeblbrox (talk) 20:01, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, they only share a name. Unless there is a source to say that the two were part of a series, it seems reasonable to split them because they are distinct things, like Paris and Paris, Texas. As far as I can tell, Russell and Forster's essays were produced independently, without the intention of them being directly compared, and they cover different subject matter. —Tom Morris (talk) 18:13, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
It should be two articles
[edit]- There should be two separate articles, they can be linked and compared, but they are separate. If it is okay with everyone I will do that Toandael49 (talk) 23:28, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
- I have removed Betrand Russell. I will expand this article some and then either make a new one for Russell or add Russell's to the Why I am not a Christian wikipedia article. what do you think?Toandael49 (talk) 23:43, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
possible plagerism
[edit]- https://www.scribd.com/document/213540099/What-i-Believe this seems to be verbatim what was in the article, or die this source take it from Wikipedia? Toandael49 (talk) 00:06, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
Part of Two Cheers for Democracy
[edit]the essay What I Believe by Forster was part of the book Two Cheers for Democracy which has its own article. I think the whole article should be deleted as duplication. Because it seems to be the same as someone else writing, and is not referenced it should be deleted. What do you think?Toandael49 (talk) 00:13, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
This probably needs a dab rather than a hatnote
[edit]How notable is the Bertrand Russell essay? In ictu oculi (talk) 08:05, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
