A person from Uneme Uzanu is known as "Uzanuan" while the people a called Uzanuans.
Uzanu is a boarder town Between Ikogi State and Edo State of Nigeria.
As we all known, there was a boarder market Between the then Kwara State and then Bendel State of Nigeria. In those days, there was a trade by barter between the native Igbirras and Uzanuans in the early 70s.
Uneme Uzanu has Suburb villages like Udochi-North, Ukpeko-Uzanu, and Ogwoyo-Uzanu.
Their Main occupation include Trading, Fishing, hunting, Farming. Uzanu is very rich in native Culture, good land for cultivating Agriculture like Banana, Cashew Nuts, Yam,Tomatoes, Potatoes, Rice, Cassava, Mangoes, Oranges, etc; also boardered by River Niger on the East and River Obu on the North. There are other rivers that could be suitable for fish ponds at Uzanu Nigeria. In fact, there is no doubts that there could be mineral deposites at Uzanu. Hence Uzanu is known as "UZANU THE LAND OF PLENT". Do you know that it's easier for the Federal Governmet to link Idah-Agenebode-Uzanu-Okene road and Agenebode-Uzanu-Ajaokuta-Abuja road also.
