Web manufacturing includes materials such as paper, film, foil, nonwovens, textiles and many others. There is only a small overlap in the sciences and technologies in use between these widely diverse products.
However, web handling connects and applies to all. Web handling is considered separate from web manufacturing (forming) and web converting (changing) because the objective is to preserve properties rather than establish or change them.
My recommendation is to keep the entry areas separate, but linked.
