Old Screenshot

The screenshot used in the article reflects an outdated version of the software. Having the software on my own phone, would it be appropriate to take a shot and provide that to be used here, or should such shots come from the software maker themselves? Takeover by Google Price Contradiction

In the introduction paragraph, Waze is said to have been bought for $1.3B. In the History / Takeover by Google section, it says Google paid $966M.

Name of the Product

I agree. The pronunciation remark just got removed today, and I think this is improper. I've heard hundreds of people mispronounce, including in Israel. (Personal experience; I was just there.) These people usually pronounce it "wah zee." The proper pronunciation should be included at the top. Alanoftheberg (talk) 19:59, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

As a Waze employee, I can testify that it's pronounced as in "ways" (IPA /wejz/). "was zee" is a wrong pronunciation. --N0nick (talk) 08:08, 8 October 2013 (UTC)

Use in Iran

Did you read the article? It clearly and pointily states in the lead section, 2nd paragraph, "The software was originally developed by Waze Mobile, a company in Israel founded by Israeli entrepreneurs Ehud Shabtai, Amir Shinar, and Uri Levine; two Israeli venture capital firms, Magma and Vertex Ventures Israel, and an early-stage American venture capital firm, Bluerun Ventures, provided funding. What does "de-in" mean?
