Waverton railway stationWaverton railway station (Cheshire) – Suggest that this article does not meet the criteria to be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. This article is about a closed station in use between 1898 and 1959 located in rural Cheshire. Meanwhile, Waverton railway station, Sydney is about a station active since 1893 located three stops down from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with over a million passengers last year. Unsurprisingly, pageview analysis suggests that the active station gets more views, about 200 versus 50 per month.

I note the convention seems to be for parenthetical disambiguation by ceremonial county, which seems to have alignment with adjacent policies WP:LONDONNAMES and WP:ENGLANDPLACE. Happy to stand corrected if this is the wrong approach. Tomiĉo (talk) 23:46, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Seems fair enough, I presume you'd move the active station page to remove the brackets? Garuda3 (talk) 14:48, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
