Prose

The first sentence of the lead needs rephrasing, especially at the phrase "is that city's premier park". Perhaps change 'that' to 'the'.
In the second paragraph in the lead, the phrase 'grace the streets' is possibly verging on WP:WTW in the Manual of Style.
In the section 'Cemetery and parade grounds' I suggest making some of the sentences slightly shorter, particularly the sentence beginning "In 1800 the land west of Knox Street...".
"A few such as 694 and 710 Madison..." - A few what?
