Fair use rationale for Image:NewMetroRail logo.svg
[edit]Image:NewMetroRail logo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:51, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

What module can be used for bus routes?
[edit]Want to start adding bus routes as a clickable module sort of like how you do with the train lines? However was told not to use the train line module so which one should i use? 1.42.145.59 (talk) 10:48, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- There isn't really any consensus to add extremely detailed bus route information to Wikipedia as it's quite tedious, while bus routes and their stops can literally move or change at any time, whereas a railway line is more permanent. The bus stops themselves won't pass Wikipedia's notability guidelines to warrant their own article, however some bus routes might. The most that most train/bus/transit station articles around the world do is to describe the bus route's general route and termini. Fork99 (talk) 11:35, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Rick Astlios: appears you might have added this talk post while logged out. Fork99 (talk) 11:48, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
- most of the stops in Perth WA are pretty rigid. Was gonna make a wikipedia page "List of Transperth Bus Routes" Rick Astlios (talk) 02:12, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Rick Astlios: Already exists at List of bus routes in Perth, Western Australia. Please feel free to help improve that article though! Fork99 (talk) 02:44, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Only way I can see the adjacent stations template used for buses is if a bus rapid transit route was built, like the O-Bahn Busway. Otherwise, bus routes simply aren't important enough to have adjacent "stations" given. Steelkamp (talk) 05:03, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
