[edit]I did some research and Bond was born in Benkelman, Nebraska not Denver, Colorado. See this website: http://www.surfnetinc.com/chuck/villains.htm and here http://backwhen.com/whereare.asp?WhereID=39 it states he was born in Nebraska but grew up in Colorado. maltmomma 14:57, Jun 6, 2005 (UTC)

Wikiproject Texas and WikiProject College football???
[edit]Just curious, but why is Ward Bond being considered for these projects? Because he attended a football game in Dallas and died there? Seems very tenuous to me. But as I say, just curious. Monkeyzpop (talk) 02:43, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Looks like he played college football for USC; I also fail to see the connection to Texas, though. I'm removing it. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 18:33, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
right wing
[edit]Wikipedia uses pejorative descriptions of conservative people or groups. You allow them to be described as right wing, but I have not read similar descriptions of groups of obvious left wing people or organizations. You have done this in the article on Ward Bond and another on the so-called peace symbol. This is why so many do not take this site seriously. Bias under the banner of presenting history and "facts" is not acceptable. [user: Peskytruth] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Notleftist (talk • contribs) 16:42, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
- There is nothing pejorative about the terms "left wing" and "right wing" in political discussions. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_politics. They are terms for indicating political leaning, not derogatory statements. Monkeyzpop (talk) 19:48, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
Added a Movie
[edit]I added Hitler-Dead or Alive to his movie credits, but it shows in red, even though there's a Wikipedia page for the film. It also shows in red here; I tried it with and without the hyphen. It's a hyphenated title on both this and the IMDb sites, so I imagine that's the correct spelling.
"Ward Bond." An odd name; wonder why he never Hollywood-ized it?--76.212.159.122 (talk) 00:07, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- The issue was the WP article has spaces around the hyphen. It's Hitler – Dead or Alive. --Marc Kupper|talk 20:36, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
Anti-Semitism
[edit]There should be some mention of Bond's very vocal anti-Semitism. It was detailed in Scott Eyman's recent biography of John Wayne. (109.150.55.191 (talk) 13:19, 27 December 2016 (UTC))
