Redlinks
[edit]Here's the line from the Manual of Style entry on dab pages:
- Redlinks (links to articles not yet written) may be included only if you are confident that an encyclopedia article could be written on the subject.
Unless you're going to write that entry now - and maybe you are, I couldn't say - it probably shouldn't stay in the article. If and when someone writes the entry on the short story, it can be restored to the text. | Klaw ¡digame! 04:04, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- That's right. "May be included if you are confident that an encyclopedia article could be written on the subject." Not "May not be included unless you are going to write an article about it right now". Will you restore the link, or shall I? -- Karada 04:13, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
- And I don't think there's that good of a chance that there will be such an article written. It's a short story; we're still struggling to get articles in here on major novels. Most dab pages I've seen around here don't have redlinks on them anyway. So, is this single bullet point in a dab page so important to you that you feel the need to be sarcastic about it? I made an edit and explained my reasoning. If you disagree, fine, but be civil about it. | Klaw ¡digame! 04:23, 26 December 2005 (UTC)
Cleanup, etc.
[edit]This format seems a little redundant, doesn't it? Also, does AT-43 really belong here? 67.103.5.28 (talk) 14:54, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Wargaming (Hacking)
[edit]There is another type of Wargame in the grey- and blackhat hacking scene. It's a challenge from and to hackers. It's legal and part of the challange to exploit the vulnerability. For example, this site is hosting some challenges that are related about local and application security: http://smashthestack.org/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.76.88.236 (talk) 20:02, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

War game (disambiguation) → War game – I do not think there is a primary topic for the words "war game", which can refer to both real tactical exercises and fictional board and video games. Wargame can stay where it is per WP:SMALLDETAILS, as most stuff in that genre does not appear to use the space. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 08:13, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. The difference between "war game" and "wargame" is too small. Judging by the list at war game (disambiguation), the terms seem to be pretty much interchangeable. JIP | Talk 01:07, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
