What is it?
[edit]The article tells us where Burgruine Waldeck is and about how old it is, but all it says about what it is is that it's a structure. --Auntof6 (talk) 12:45, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Burg is the German word for castle, "ruine" means ruins, thus Burgruine is a compound word meaning "castle ruins". The German Wikipedia makes more of a distinction in article titles between preserved or maintained castles and castles that are in ruins. – wbm1058 (talk) 12:23, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
