[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because it is documenting a 44 year old arts organization that was created during a time of similar community startups. It is part of an era and genre of community non-profits that continues. It is in alignment with the many other non-profit arts organizations listed, many with articles, in the Bay Area Arts template.
Additionally the article was not created by anyone currently or previously on the board of directors, nor was this article written on request, but rather because it was missing from this esteemed publication. Maxmarsh2021 (talk) 15:55, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Maxmarsh2021

[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... WORKS San José is a nonprofit art space, they literally are not selling anything. I am concerned that this was tagged for speedy deletion because the editor that started this article is a new editor that has made some mistakes, rather than someone with bad intentions. I don't think deleting this article will improve Wikipedia. An active effort has been made to clean up the article and move away from any obvious advert issues. Jooojay (talk) 11:57, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
