[edit]I have removed the line about WEAO being the originating station. WNEO and WEAO are operated in tandem out of the facility in Kent, Ohio. Neither station claims "origination" status. WNEO was actually first on the air, and WEAO was considered a simulcaster of it when 49 first went on, but that distinction has long since faded away. Western Reserve Public Media → WNEO – Per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (broadcasting):
- Broadcast stations "should always be titled with the official call sign as assigned by that country's regulatory authority."
- "Alternate brand names... are very rarely unique, and... are not appropriate article titles. A brand name may, however, be created as a redirect or a disambiguation page where appropriate."
- "Where a single broadcast outlet operates several transmitters with different call signs, create the article at the call sign which is considered the primary station, and make the other call signs redirects to that call sign."
- WNEO began broadcasting in May 1973, two years prior to WEAO in September 1975.
- Parent organization has listed WNEO before WEAO since at least year 2000 (see archives of official website "facts" pages here and here). Levdr1lp / talk 18:33, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Name change to PBS Western Reserve
[edit]Using WNEO as 1 article for a PBS network doesn’t make sense. WEAO shouldn’t be an article as well. Instead, it should just be PBS Western Reserve, and have info about both stations. With that said, I kindly request for the name of this article to just be PBS Western Reserve. 184.56.45.18 (talk) 00:28, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
