Correct name?
[edit]There appears to be some confusion regarding her name. The opening sentence calls her 'Kate Williams, sometimes called Kate Roberts' and yet the info box has her as 'Miriam Kate Williams'. The name 'Miriam' does not appear once in the text. Just think this anomaly needs clearing up. Enaidmawr (talk) 16:07, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- The England Census 1901 gives her name as Miriam K Williams, as does the England and Wales Death Index for the 3rd quarter of 1946. The National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations) gives it as Miriam Kate Williams or Roberts. -- Picapica (talk) 11:10, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
Citation problems
[edit]I deleted two external links that are dead and don't have good copies at archive.org: Antiguas Amazonas and the gripgirl.co.uk site. (The latter has a backup, but the images are gone from all the crawls: https://web.archive.org/web/20070517071142/http://gripgirl.co.uk/STRONGWOMEN/V.html) -- Unclevinny (talk) 22:43, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
