- Interesting: - Really baseline hook; could we maybe try to find a more specific detail for this rather than just the topic itself?

- @Generalissima: Happy to take any inputs on tweaking the hook. But, not many clandestine radio stations in that part of the world at that time. I can’t think of any other in Portuguese India. Ktin (talk) 04:51, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- How about something along the lines of --
- ALT1.0 ... that Voice of Freedom broadcast clandestinely from forests in and around Portuguese Goa with its broadcasters countering poisonous snakes, leeches, insects, and other wildlife? (Source: Times of India)
- ALT1.1 ... that Voice of Freedom broadcast clandestinely from forests in and around Portuguese Goa with its broadcasters countering poisonous snakes, leeches, and wildlife, advocating for the Goan independence movement in the 1950s? (Source: Times of India)
- ALT1.2 ... that Voice of Freedom operated clandestinely from forests in and around Portuguese Goa with its broadcasters countering poisonous snakes, leeches, insects, and other wildlife? (Source: Times of India)
- and if you want to go sneaky
- ALT1.3 ... that the Voice of Freedom had to counter poisonous snakes, leeches, and other wildlife?

- Let me know. We can trim the hook if we need to. Ktin (talk) 05:06, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Generalissima:. Pardon the ping. Appreciate your eyes on the revised hooks. Thanks. Ktin (talk) 06:23, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oh no worries, I got distracted. I think Alt1.3 is the best; it's short and punchy and invites the reader to click to learn more, which is really all you want with a hook! Generalissima (talk) 06:50, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
