Famous temples outside VijayanagaraDineshkannambadi 15:29, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit]

Please feel free to add info to this section for temples from other Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and other places. My sources dont elaborate on this and hence I cant do justice to this issue. If and When I come across temples from Andhra and Tamil Nadu, I shall add it. Please try to contribute to this page positively without just throwing in pictures of temples. This page is meant to discuss niche aspects of Vijayanagar architecture and so lets maintain it that way. Also please refrain from vandalism as this has been all too prevalent lately.

It's better not to have the "features" part in a list I feel, as we are discussing some "concepts" and "themes" here, which are rather furry, overlapping, non quanititative, rather than something which is well defined for a list, like List of Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu. Adding Video Content

[edit]

I would like to add video footage of the following landmarks around Hampi that relate to the Vijayanagara Empire. This video was taken as part of a documentary produced by the Global Lives Project: ruins Achituraya Temple I would subclip the video down to about one minute.Jordanhkatz (talk) 21:56, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
