Ca Dao
[edit]The translations of ca dao do not preserve the rhythm schemes that the article mentions. Should this be fixed by either having a better translation, or adding the Vietnamese original version? Eistube (talk) 05:03, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- It seems strange that only English translations are given, but no original Vietnamese texts. Badagnani (talk) 05:21, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- I know the original Vietnamese versions to most of those, so should I add them? Eistube (talk) 05:42, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- It would seem quite appropriate, if it's not too long for the article. Perhaps it could be split out into an article of its own. I think there may be some nice templates that would allow you to quote both languages in a visually pleasing way, but I'm not sure how. There's some poetry given at Vè but I don't like the formatting very much. Badagnani (talk) 05:51, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
- How should one split the ca dao section to a different page? It is too detailed right now, where it should have been just a summary of the form, like other forms in Vietnamese literature. I suppose copy and paste is not allowed, but some parts should be moved to its own page. Then I'll start inserting the Vietnamese original version. Eistube (talk) 19:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
