I updated the Victoria Theatre (Dayton, Ohio) article as a stop-gap effort to at least increase the piece's accuracy. I don't have sightings to offer, having limited time to dig in. But I was involved with the Victory Theater Association for a number of years and come to the subject with a certain clarity. The body of this article, as I read it this morning, was mainly unacceptable, poorly-expressed, and rife with inaccuracies. A most basic problem here is with the naming and re-naming of the theater from 1866 through 1989, when it was ultimately re-built as a performing arts center. Secondly, there are numerous missing highlights, including the theater's illustrious career as a destination for legitimate actors and comedians of some renown. It should be also noted that the house was retrofitted for cinema use, sometime near the end of WWI. Its Disney Theater years should also be researched and described.
This is an article which needs rebuilding, particularly in the realm of snytax, and certainly within the realm of building a fascinating story out of real historical knowledge. User:Strideman —Preceding undated comment added 16:19, 19 November 2011 (UTC).
