Possible vandalism?

Someone is vandalazing this page by adding repeatedly that Greece is on VEVO. Vevo is not available on Greece.188.4.244.115 (talk) 15:21, 30 September 2015 (UTC)

Hello (Adele)

Please remove Adele's "Hello" record - this views number is unofficial because YouTube needs 48h to verify their data.

Absolutely correct. However, given that it'll just be an edit battle for a day or so before the official result, I'll settle for leaving it with a note. Btljs (talk) 12:01, 24 October 2015 (UTC)

Can't Remember To Forget You

The song by Shakira ft. Rihanna had over 17m in it's first 24 hs. What's more, VEVO OFFICIALLY tweet it https://twitter.com/Vevo_UK/status/431384277943468033. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.227.44.72 (talk) 02:40, 26 October 2015 (UTC)

The tweet says: "WOAH. @Shakira/@rihanna came VERY close to breaking the VEVO 24 hour record! 17.1M views in total." So it was never the record holder - the list shows the record holders only (I put in a footnote but this could be made clearer on the page maybe?) Btljs (talk) 06:54, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

New record set by Bowie?

Not sure if he broke Adele's record or if this is something a bit different http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/14/10766840/david-bowie-beats-adele-vevo-record I don't understand vevo well enough, so I'll let someone else decide. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jctoad (talkcontribs) 20:48, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Please rework section: History

I would request the editors of this article not use "Hulu" as a definition or summary. This is complicating the knowledge conveyed. Anyone who doesn't know Hulu has to read that article first to understand this one. Is is possible for someone who knows about Vevo's history to rewrite this part of the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bengt Hennig (talkcontribs) 19:06, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

I have fixed the sentence in question so that ¨Hulu¨ is explained for those that don't know about that service.Tar62800 21:21, 27 January 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tar62800 (talkcontribs)

Flag icons

I removed them from the article per MOS:FLAG which states they are appropriate when "subject actually represents that country, government, or nationality – such as military units, government officials, or national sports teams". These people are individuals and awards are to them alone. They are not representing their country so it is inappropriate to connect a flag to the recipient. Also the flags are meaningless to most readers as to what country they actually refer to so have little value even to identify a country. The icons are just visually decorative, but mostly meaningless, noise in an otherwise clean table. I note that they were originally added by Ahmednafiekh with this edit on 17 September 2016. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:31, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

177.107.36.2 Is restoring the flag icons here. Request continue discussion on the talk page and justify why it is important for this article to go against the Wikipedia manual of style about flag icon usage. Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:06, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

I noticed that Ahmednafiekh restored the flag icons again here without contributing to this discussion. I have left a notice on his talk page pointing to this discussion. Please justify here why icons in this article are important enough to go against the manual of style and gain consensus for inclusion. Geraldo Perez (talk) 03:43, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

Look What You Made Me Do just broke Adele record. I'm not adept at the musical record editing rules, but this should be noted.--Bellerophon5685 (talk) 18:11, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

Conflict with Vevo Certified

People are constantly editing the Vevo Certified section because some people use the views from the Vevo account on YouTube and some people use the real Vevo site. MrLeopold (talk) 16:29, 12 April 2018 (UTC)

  • Agreed; not sure what this RfC is intended to accomplish. That the individual who opened it hasn't edited in weeks makes me inclined to think this should be closed, with no prejudice to creating a better-formed RfC. DonIago (talk) 14:43, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

The list is too long. List of artists who have at least 20 (Not 10) Vevo Certified music videos
