Revisiting this redirect
[edit]A Very Stable Genius now exists. Should this redirect (and Very Stable Genius) be retargeted there, turned into a disambiguation page, kept at its current target, or some other solution? (Pinging Herostratus, AngusWOOF, MelanieN, and JFG, all of whom participated in Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 August 29#Very stable genius, and Indignant Flamingo, who created the article on the book.) – Arms & Hearts (talk) 15:58, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- It should be made into a disambiguation as it's not the primary topic. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:04, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Disambiguation for now, then revisit when someone writes an article on the phrase itself. Indignant Flamingo (talk) 18:04, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
Would the DAB page have just two entries - Stable Genius Act and A Very Stable Genius? I'm inclined to think that the book is the primary meaning for this phrase - for one thing, it includes "very" which the act doesn't - and that we should redirect this phrase to it, with a hatnote about the act. -- MelanieN (talk) 19:34, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- I would also suggest Timeline of the Donald Trump presidency (2018 Q1)#Week_50, where our minimal coverage of the source phrase appears to reside. Indignant Flamingo (talk) 19:44, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and created the disambiguation page. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 16:17, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
