Introduction to the essay. Not sure if it belongs in the wiki-entry or not, but here it is if anyone wants to think about it (or even translate the thing and stick it in....)
« "La femme est l'avenir de l'homme." Cette sentence devenue célèbre résume à elle seule le credo de l'époque, son idéologie. Que le poète qui l'a prononcée ait vécu en stalinien et fini pédé devrait pourtant inciter à la prudence, voire à la réflexion. À moins que le but de ce slogan, devenu "Demain sera féminin" dans un catalogue de vente par correspondance, soit justement de couper court à toute réflexion sérieuse ; d'exiger de nous, hommes de bonne volonté qui voulions continuer à réfléchir, que nous nous en remettions à la fameuse intuition et autre sensibilité féminines quant à notre avenir. Étrange : dans cette société libérale où presque toutes les critiques sont permises, voire encouragées (surtout celles qui en sapent les fondements : chrétienté, raison, science, république, père, famille, morale...), il est devenu très mal vu de ne pas dire que du bien des femmes. »
