Influences

I have removed the first paragraph under the section Influences. It dealt with Gentileschi's career and life as a whole and was not relevant for this specific painting. More importantly, the section repeated many of the outdated claims about the effect of Tassi's rape on Gentileschi's paintings, and their interpretations as expressions of personal anger. More recent scholarship has a more nuanced interpretation of Gentileschi's life and painting. Xcia0069 (talk) 12:56, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
