Talk about rings
[edit]A lot of this article talks about jewellery, while the article is about a vein, or a belief about a vein. The discussion about the ring should be moved to the article Wedding ring, since that article doesn't mention the vein to the heart, as it should. [edit]This article actually doesn't finally and directly say whether there is a vein from that finger to the heart or not. 124.187.2.56 (talk) 14:03, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- It was originally a nerve, not a vein. The idea can only be traced back to a Roman author (the guy who wrote "Wonders of Egypt"). However, he's not talking about Bronze-Age Egypt, but Greek physicians in Alexandria centuries after the Greek conquest of Egypt. They claimed to have discovered a nerve connecting the ring finger with the heart. The source of this information, however, is not very reliable since it's just a collection of fabulous or tall tales. Zyxwv99 (talk) 02:12, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
- В любом случае,( есть нерв, или вена идущая к сердцу или нет) благодарю вас за эту информацию. Значит, время повторять анатомию)) 109.252.35.125 (talk) 05:04, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
