Translation of de:Wertkonservatismus?

[edit]

Hi all,

My German is pretty rudimentary to say the least. (If I found myself in Berlin, dressed as Spiderman, with climbing shoes on and ready for an ascent, I'd have to ask for directions to the Reichstag in English). Nevertheless:

de.wp (without references and formatting)
(USW)
en.wp (without references and formatting)
Value conservatism is a political philosophy and a variety of conservatism that emphasises the permanence of alleged or actual values of a society which it wants to preserve or restore. It stands in contrast to structural conservatism and social conservatism.
The German term for value conservatism, "Wertkonservatismus", was first coined in 1975 by Social Democratic politician Erhard Eppler in his book Ende oder Wende ("End or Turn").
(and so on)

It would appear to me there is little doubt that this is a translation of de.wp article, so the {{translated|de|Wertkonservatismus}} tag.

As always, please let me know if I have made a mistake here. Or anywhere else on en.wp.

This is correct. The article is a translation from the German article on Wertkonservatismus. KonstantinEtpirch (talk) 08:56, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
