Fair use rationale for Image:Use Your Illusion.jpg

[edit]

Image:Use Your Illusion.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Cancelled show in Flanders Expo (Belgium) on June 24, 1992

[edit]

The list of notable events doesn't include this cancelled concert. It was cancelled because of illness by Duff McKagan. You can see a poster of the event here, and mention below the poster that it was cancelled due to illness and Duff McKagan not feeling well: https://entertainment.ha.com/itm/music-memorabilia/posters/guns-n-roses-soundgarden-cancelled-1992-ghent-concert-poster/a/7221-89657.s

Can someone add this? The page is protected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.116.125.137 (talk) 15:13, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia Section

[edit]

This looks like a fansite. It [Trivia] uses no citations. Is capital lettering necessary? 194.72.54.162 (talk) 16:02, 12 December 2007 (UTC)UnsignedUser[reply]

Norway

[edit]

They were supposed to play in Norway on August 21st. The show was cancelled when Axl Rose never showed up. --212.251.183.204 (talk) 04:44, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

opening paragraph

[edit]

it talks about the tour being the bands longest, clearly has not been changed in a while as chinese democracy tour is longer in terms of both time and number of shows — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.20.201.105 (talk) 18:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

April 9, 1992 show was at Rosemont Horizon (now Allstate Arena), Rosemont, Illinois, not the Chicago Stadium.

Start date ?

[edit]

The History section states "The tour started on May 24, 1991..." while the first sentence at the top and the info box at the top right states January 20, 1991. Which one is correct? Also, take a look at the dates further down in the article, January 20th started with two Rock in Rio shows, then three"warm up shows", so maybe those 5 shows didn't count as part of the "official" tour? Proposed split

[edit]

Starting in March 1993, the band started what was called the Skin N' Bones Tour, which to my knowledge was an officially marketed and recognized new tour, with new stage design and altered setlist. What do people here feel about splitting the page, and is there any experienced Wikipedia editor up to the task? YouCanDoBetter (talk) 05:27, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On the Use Your illusion tour dates on June 1, 1991, the venue listed as the capital music center doesn’t exist and I don’t believe ever has. . I was there and they toured with skid row, and the place that the concert was at was a place called Beulah Park off Southwest Blvd in Grove City, Ohio….which was a horse racing track. It no longer exists either. 74.141.164.186 (talk) 20:41, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
