Please note that we long ago decided not to capitalise ranks on Wikipedia (unless they come before someone's name, obviously). We are aware that the armed forces often like to capitalise them, but that is not our house style. Thanks. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:05, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:The Great Radio Controversy for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. - @SummerPhDv2.0 Yeah, I tried to tell the originator of that thread that the Talk pages were not to be used for discussions (much like the War Room in Dr. Strangelove, where you cannot fight). Thanks for the note, though, it's been so long since I've heard from you! You're the best!
- P.S. - Is it OK to talk on my own talk page, or is that forbidden too? FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 14:08, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- P.P.S. @SummerPhDv2.0 - Did you send a similar note to the person that STARTED the thread and/or to the person that commented on it BEFORE I did, or am I the only one getting the benefits of your wisdom (in other words, being singled out)? FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 15:28, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has policies. If that proves difficult, you will be reminded of the policies, blocked for violating them and/or banned from the site as deemed appropriate by site administrators.
- Did I warn the other editor? What another editor did nearly a decade ago is irrelevant. Talk page violations do not justify talk page violations. - SummerPhDv2.0 22:56, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks again, you're the best! FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 15:01, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
